100% vegan – really! We check every single item on our website meticulously. No product contains any leather, wool or silk.
We absolutely do not buy any merchandise that contains any animal parts, down to the glue used. We absolutely do not buy from manufacturers that use any type of fur in the production of their goods – the vast majority of them don't even use leather any more at all – a huge victory for the animals!
Where are the shoes made?
The majority of our shoes are made in China. Whenever possible, we pick small companies that oversee the manufacturing of the material to the delivery of the shoes to the retailer (us). They not only control the quality of the material and shoe manufacturing, but also guarantee the workers' rights (as in eight-hour days!). Sometimes, we will buy shoes from large companies, as well. These companies are reporting to the Fair Labor Association where their factories get audited for labor conditions, overtime, benefits, safety, etc. etc. It is very important to us that human rights are respected as well as animal rights.
Why buy from China in the first place?
Yes, China does have a reputation for their inhumane treatments of workers. However, there are companies that do try and make a difference. Instead of boycotting a whole country, we do try to make a statement by supporting those companies that manufacture cruelty-free products under fair labor conditions. After all, we want them to know that there is a market for these products and want them to continue manufacturing these cruelty-free goods. Boycotting a whole country is to us like boycotting the United States just because you don't happen to agree with the war in Iraq.
What's my size?
Different manufacturers have different variations on sizes. We make every effort to note whether a shoe runs small or large in the Shoes Description. Our shoe sizes are listed in US sizes. To convert to a US size from a different country, please consult the size chart. If you're concerned about whether something will fit you, feel free to contact us for assistance.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
Will I receive an order confirmation via e-mail?
You will receive an order confirmation message via e-mail shortly after we receive your order. If you do not receive this message within about 30 minutes of placing your order, there might be a delay on the Web due to traffic. Please be sure you enter your e-mail address correctly when you order, or else the delivery confirmation cannot be sent. If you enter the e-mail correctly, and still do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please contact us. There may have been a problem, and we may not have received the order. Also, spam blockers may filter out our e-mails.
How soon will my package be shipped after I place my order?
Orders are shipped within two business days after we receive the order, Monday through Friday (excluding national holidays). You will receive an email notification when your package has been shipped. If three full business days have passed and you have not received a shipping confirmation or an explanation of delay, please contact us! We make every effort to keep our customers informed of their order status.
How can I check the status of an order placed online?
As soon as your order has shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation email. If your order was shipped via UPS it will contain a direct link to UPS where you can track the order.

Can I order by telephone?
The easiest way is to place an order via website. If you have any concerns, you may call us at 310-480-6794, Monday through Friday, to place an order by phone.
Can orders be shipped to P.O. Boxes?
Yes, via USPS (Unites States Postal Service). Please select this option in your shopping cart when checking out. However, no tracking is available. UPS does not ship to P.O. Boxes
Can orders be shipped to a different address from the billing address?
To prevent credit card fraud and to protect our customers, orders can only be shipped to the name on the credit card and to the billing address of the credit card used.
Can orders be shipped to foreign countries?
We do ship all over the world. For further information, please consult the International Shipping page.
Can I cancel an order?
If your order has not yet been sent out from our warehouse, we can cancel it. To cancel an order, please email us immediately at customercare@veganchic.com. Unfortunately, if your order has already been sent out for delivery, we cannot cancel it.
What is your return policy?
If you're not happy, we're not happy. Please refer to our Returns Policy.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
California state law requires that we charge applicable sales tax on orders shipped to addresses in the state of California. Orders outside of California will not be charged sales tax.
